How it works

Capture at the surface, not in the room

A downdraught bench removes contamination at the point of release. Airflow through the perforated surface pulls particles and fume away from the operator’s hands and face before they rise, then the filters clean the air and return it to the room.

The FX is built and certified for use in a classified area. Filter X covers non-sparking dusts. Filter Y adds HEPA where the dust is also hazardous.

01

Work

02

Draw

The fan pulls air down through the surface, away from the breathing zone.

03

The filter category chosen for the contaminant captures it.

04

Which filter does the AirBench FX need?

It depends on the contaminant. AirBench offers 2 categories for the AirBench FX: X – ATEX Rated; Y – ATEX Rated - HEPA. The filter table on this page lists the applications for each. Tell us the process and we will specify the filter.
